FireGround Analytics doesn’t just collect data — we contribute it. With jurisdictional permission, we share insights with national initiatives like the Firefighter Rescue Survey and Project Mayday to help the entire fire service grow stronger together.
Looking ahead, FireGround Analytics will also be creating the Anonymous National FireGround Analytics Database. Much like the Firefighter Rescue Survey highlights the most important aspect of our profession — saving lives — this database will shift focus from negative statistics (line-of-duty deaths, civilian fatalities) to meaningful performance outcomes. By recording the details of actions taken on the fireground, departments will be able to tailor training to proven methods and techniques that actually work, improving results to better serve the populations who rely on us.
